Ongoing Events

Pride & Passion

The Tampa Museum of Art and the Pride & Passion 2009 Steering Committee invite you to the fourth annual celebration - Pride & Passion: Constructing the Future - on Friday, May 29, 2009, from 8 p.m. to midnight in downtown Tampa's Rivergate Tower building.  Rivergate Tower overlooks the new TMA construction site in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. Event proceeds support museum exhibitions and educational programs.

Art After Dark

Each month, the museum partners with area organizations, volunteers, and artists, to present a new and exciting event that celebrates art, music, and entertainment. Admission is $10 per person, free for museum members, and includes complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and a cash bar. Art After Dark is currently on hiatus until early 2010 when the new Tampa Museum of Art opens in downtown Tampa.

The Pavilion

The Tampa Museum of Art’s signature annual event The Pavilion, celebrated its 23rd year in 2008. The first Pavilion event was held in 1981. Each year, proceeds from the event provide support for museum exhibitions and educational programs. The next Pavilion will be held in the new Tampa Museum of Art facility, scheduled to open in early 2010.
